Paper and Dogwood Lanterns

My lanterns are made from locally sourced dog­wood, cut when the bark is red. The wood is waxed, drilled and fixed in place with copper wire, then covered with Japanese or Thai paper. They are approximately 15” high.

Each candle-lit lantern is fitted with a copper coil that keeps the glass votive candle holder in place. Several designs are available.

Every small tree ornament house is unique, is about 4”- 5” high, and fits over the lights on a Christmas tree. Limited supply.
