Kathleen McDonnell is the author of nine books of non-fiction and fiction, and has written more than a dozen plays, many of which have had award-winning productions in Canada and the United States. Kathleen is also a musician, deeply involved in the traditional music of her ancestral homeland, Ireland. She's currently working with Island-based filmmaker and theatre director Annie Szamosi to produce an audiobook of BRIDEEN, with songs and music performed by some of Toronto's best traditional Irish musicians.
